Syed Tariq Anwar is Professor of Marketing in the College of Business at West Texas A&M University. Anwar has over 25 years of experience in education, research, and marketing and international business areas. Anwar teaches international marketing, seminar in international business strategy, marketing strategy, seminar in marketing, and international business. His current research interests are in the areas of global marketing strategy, internationalization issues, multinational corporations, auto industry, and case writing. Anwar's research has appeared in journals such as Journal of International Management, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of World Trade, Thunderbird International Business Review, Journal of World Investment & Trade, World Competition, Journal of International Entrepreneurship, International Executive, Marketing News, Contemporary Review, International Third World Studies Journal & Review, and others. In addition, he published review articles in Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, Chinese Management Studies, Journal of Asian Business, and others. Anwar has presented various executive seminars/papers and has lectured in the U.S., Australia, Austria, Canada, Mexico, Pakistan, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, and the UK.
