Minston Chao, PhD., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Care Management at Chang Gung University, where he teaches human resource management, health care management, project management and performance evaluation. He earned his B.S and M.S from Chinese Culture University, and his PhD. from National Sun Yat-sen University, and he has also visited at Cornell University (2004). His research focuses on 1) the relationships among business strategy, human resource management practices and organizational performance; 2) organizational climate, job embedded and employees turnover; 3) labor laws and labor disputes. He has served as senior manager for multinational companies, Watson Wyatt, KPMG, Kimberly-Clark and ICI. He has also been appointed as an instructor to facilitate business managers, union representatives and hospital professionalism training program. He has published papers in Human Resource Management and Medical Information.
