Dr. Kuang-Hung Hsu is currently Professor of Department of Health Care Management, Chang Gung University. He graduated from National Taiwan University and received his bachelor (1984) and master (1988) degrees concentrated in Epidemiology from College of Medicine. Dr. Hsu received his doctor of philosophy (PhD) in environmental health sciences from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), USA in 1995. He received professional trainings in Environmental Toxicology and Epidemiology as the major tract and obtained minor degree in Statistics. Due to multidisciplinary trainings, Dr. Hsu has enormous experience in health care, biotech, and semiconductor industries in Taiwan. He has served in consultation board of a few distinguished institutes in Taiwan, such as TSMC, Industrial Research Institute, and editorial board of academic journals, such as Journal of Taiwan Health Care Management Association, Journal of Management Sciences Association in Taiwwan, and Chang Gung Medical Journal. He is also the principle investigator of Laboratory for Epidemiology and director of Biotech Management curriculum in Chang Gung University. He is the founder of biotechnology management curriculum in CGU and dual degrees for MBA between CGU and University of Washington at Seattle, USA. Dr. Hsu teaches Statistics, Epidemiology, Quantitative Methodology, Introductory Biotechnology Management, and Quantitative Methods & Bioinformatics in both graduate and undergraduate courses. His research interests include health care management, biotechnology management, clinical epidemiology, and biostatistics/bioinformatics. There are over seventy journal articles published by Dr. Hsu in the past decades. Many of them are appeared in top-tier SCI/SSCI journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, JAMA, Soc Sci Med etc.. He was elected as the best teacher of the year in research twice in the year of 2001 & 2008.
