About Me

Dr. Gary Kelley is Professor of Computer Information and Decision Sciences (CIDM) in the College of Business. He has been at West Texas A&M University since 1983 during which time he has served as faculty member, department head of CIDM, associate dean of the College of Business, president of the faculty senate and Director of Institutional Research. Dr. Kelley was previously on the faculty at Texas Tech University.  His areas of interest include applied statistical analysis, forecasting, time series analysis, and applied regression analysis. Dr. Kelley received a B.S. in mathematics from Texas Tech University in 1972, an M.S. in statistics from Southern Methodist University in 1975, and a Ph.D. in statistics from Southern Methodist University in 1977. He is a member of the American Statistical Association.
