About Me

A native of eastern New Mexico, Dr. Pulliam received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 1976 and a Master of Business Administration in 1978 from Eastern New Mexico University and joined the accounting firm of Peat Marwick and Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG) in Albuquerque. After five years in public accounting, she completed her Ph.D. at the University of North Texas and joined the faculty of the University of Tulsa in 1987. She joined the faculty of West Texas A&M University in 1997. Dr. Pulliam teaches the income tax accounting courses and the CPA review, and is the director of the Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) program and faculty adviser for Mortar Board.
