Dr. Furner joined the College of Business in 2008. He received a B.S.B.A. from East Carolina University in 2002, a MBA from East Carolina University in 2003 and a Ph.D. in management information systems from Florida State University in 2008. Dr. Furner has experience teaching advanced applications development, fundamentals of programming, web application development, essentials of management information systems, project management, electronic commerce and systems analysis and design. He has served as managing editor for the Communications of the Association for Information Systems and as a reviewer for a number of journals and conferences.
