About Me

Dr. Berry joined the College of Business in 2014. She received a B.A. in Communication Arts from Bellevue University in 2010, a M.A. in Managerial Communications from Bellevue University in 2012, and a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas in 2014. Dr. Berry teaches Business Communication, Intercultural Communication, and Conflict Resolution & Negotiation. Dr. Berry is a member of the International Communication Association and serves as co-advisor for the WTAMU Society for Human Resource Management. She is an organizational communication scholar with an interest in interpersonal and educational communication as it relates to business applications. Dr. Berry is the author of “Legitimization as a rhetorical process in a regulatory agency: An examination of rhetoric from the US Council for Higher Education Accreditation” as published in the Journal of Communication Management. She has also been published in the Journal of Business and Leadership: Research, Practice and Teaching, the Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice, the Journal of Retail Analytics, and other related publications.
